It's a good start, anyway. And he's too busy being excited over the prospect of finding ghosts, or a gate, or... whatever to notice that Tobias is perking up. Ryoji certainly looks perky. But that's a bit more of a constant with him anyway.

"Oh! I'm Ryoji. It's nice to meet you." They had kind of neglected that... which kind of hints that they might both be hiding something. Oh well. They'll likely find out soon enough.
