The children aren't hard to catch up with; after their trick, they regrouped in front of the next house, standing and giggling together on the driveway. Up close, they're wearing masks; the tallest has a traditional 'comedy' mask, the smallest a matching 'tragedy,' and the middle-height one a grinning skull that looks almost too real. Their skin seems oddly shimmery, as though they were bathed in some kind of body glitter before coming out tonight.
