She pauses for a second, and then deactivates her shield, stepping past Anya. As she moves out of the darkness, the streetlights seem to shine a little brighter and more yellow at the same time, the line dividing the light they cast and the darkness around it strangely clear. Rikki's red hair, the blue and yellow of her uniform, are the same color they've ever been, but clearer and truer somehow. Rikki, of course, doesn't even notice.

"C'mon, let's go take a look around."
