Some animals will feast there tonight, she's sure.
Once she has put it down in a safe distance, hidden by bushes and out of sight, and waited for long enough that he could assume that she's eaten what he gave her in the meanwhile, she returns. If he's still there, she stops in the same distance as before. If he is not, she will find his trail and follow him.
