All night, all night, like I have been all night, Rikki is sweaty and in uniform and most importantly she is confused about why Anya's so relieved to see her. Stupid parallel universes. Stupid time travel. It made her glad she wasn't a proper Avenger, they dealt with this sort of shit way more than she'd be comfortable with, for sure. She takes a deep breath and all but forces herself to let go and step back a little so they could have a conversation. And probably save the worst of it for later, when they're not on the street.
"Jeeze, it's like looking in a time machine," she says with a short laugh and a shaky smile, tucking some strands of her impossibly long, silky hair behind her ear. That's something that's changed since she last saw Rikki. Among other things. She's a tiny bit taller. Her face has lost a bit of the lingering baby fat she'd been holding on to.
"So..." she starts, "I'm going to blame Reed Richards, unless you have a better idea."
