The unnatural feeling bothers her the least - this whole place is unnatural, she is unnatural, and while she registers it she will worry about it if it turns out to be a problem. For now she's just a regular fox, if curious. Nothing to see here. Hopefully that lasts.

The rest of his smell is... strange. Not very much human. Not human? Maybe. The smell of fire makes her uneasy, but if she keeps a few centimetres distance she can easily quench that feeling. She's always uneasy these days, anyway.

She can see why regular animals would stay far away from him, though...

Would they? She's tempted to try it out, but that would just be very obviously off. So instead she pulls away a bit and then starts to circle him. He looks... well, he looks ugly, but she's seen Nosferatu. There's worse ugliness going around calling itself humanoid. And he still smells the same. Mist and death and ghosts and garbage, candy and alchemy and fire. She's never met someone like him before.

But then, she has to admit, she also is very, very young still, and spent the last few years away from most of anything. Those last years help a bit with identifying some smells - alchemic reagents, but certainly didn't help with anything else.
