There's this song she learned a while ago back home - the farmer sends out Jockel to cut the oat, who doesn't do his job, then sends the farm hand to make Jockel do it, then the dog to make the farm hand do his job, then the club to make the dog do his job... And so on. Revenge can be like that, she's found. Just that it doesn't end with everyone being forced to do their job by one last instance, but with everyone being dead. Not that she particularly cares about this guy, but if things here are more connected than she can see yet, it might come back to hurt someone she cares about. And she's getting the feeling that there is an awful lot of connection between everything here.
