She'll have to work harder than that to find out his secret-- most likely, in fact, spend actual time with him or at least prove she, too, is inhuman in some way. What he says is: "I'm just not very likeable, I guess. Maybe I'm too clumsy, or too big, or too awkward. I know cats don't like a lot of sudden movements or loud noises, and someone as big as me falling down is definitely loud and sudden."
