It takes him about halfway to the house before he realizes where she's leading him, and he stops, squints up at her though his sunglasses, and finally guesses, "Are you the fox...? Because you're taking me back home, and an owl wouldn't know where that is. Unless it's a coincidence and you're taking me somewhere nearby, but I think maybe you're the fox."
