Through one of the windows, she'll see what looks like a fairly normal teenage boy's room--posters all over the walls, an acoustic guitar laying on the bed--and there are pets in there. They're just a pair of hamsters, but they're there.

But there's also another room where all of the windows have been papered over with black paper. It's impossible to see what's in there.
