Corwin doesn't notice her attention immediately. He does, in fact, order something from the counter, and waits not far from her table, getting glitter on the countertop and his own clothes and looking rather pleased by it. It's the sparkle on her fingers and her pencil, when she starts working, that catches his eye as he turns away from it with his hot drink in hand.
"Oh, is that-- did I do that? It won't get in your way when you work, will it?" He doesn't seem terribly apologetic, because who can really complain about glitter? But if it gets in the way of her work, he might feel bad anyway.
