He's not afraid of a fight. He joined the Summer Court because they're the only ones willing to take the fight to those that needed to be fought, who by and large tackle their problems head on.

But he doesn't need to pick a fight foolishly, right? He pauses a moment and sets the fox down, staring at it. Fighting someone in this state... if it's from the Others, it'll be fine. But otherwise fighting someone in an unfair fight seems... wrong.
